Now that Thanksgiving is behind us most families have the tradition of starting to decorate their homes for Christmas the day after. Black Friday and Cyber Monday or Week are great times to locate new trendy decor for the occasion. I personally have found deals at Big Lots, Target, Walmart, and even Kmart for Holiday decor. You can locate everything from Christmas trees pre-lit or not to yard decor. Holiday decorations are so important since they tend to set the mood. Deciding on your decor color scheme is equivalent to the interior designing decisions of your home. You should not have a tree with red bows and ornaments, but stockings and door wreath that are white and gold. So take the time to plan out how you would like your decor to look. Remember your decor will appear in your Family Christmas pictures.

Of course your decorating ideas do not have to be Better Homes In Garden caliber, but festive and eye catching for you, your family, and your Holiday guest. Get the kids involved in the decorating, they love to help out for the Holidays. You may want to assign the smaller children a craft project of creating personalized stocking to hang on the fire place mantel. Make the decorating about family time, it will begin a family tradition, that as the children get older they will look forward to.

If your specialty is not decorating various ideas can be located online or reading magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, or Martha Stewart's Living, just to name a few. Also when you make your purchases of decor items make sure to purchase items that can be used for years to come. This is only the beginning of JasiChan Events advice on Holiday decor as we have 27 days until Christmas and a lot more to cover. It's never a true party until JasiChan is on the scene. Until next time.
