     Happy Sunday readers!!! I have been busy creating some fun adult games for friends and clients during these times of limited outdoor interactions. Have you ever thought that the games we played as children could be updated or upgraded for adult fun? Well I'm here to tell you they can. I wholeheartedly believe we all still have that kid still inside of us. However to improve the game time experience in our later years for limited girlfriend time, couples date night turned game night and family quality time evolving into family game night, it can be the mental break you and those closest to you need. Who doesn't like a <b>UNO</b>? We all like <b>UNO</b>. For Adults there is a spin on it with some additional rules. The game is called <b>DRUNK UNO</b>. You take shots playing this game. <b>Important Disclaimer</b>: Please be responsible, don't drink and drive, but just have adult fun. This game is intended for those 21 or older. Absolutely NO underaged drinking is encouraged or allowed. There is also a <b>SPADES</b> and <b>Tic Tac Toe</b> version of this adult game fun.<br />

Creative Ways to Plan Movie Nights During COVID-19

Hey everyone! I hope you are safe and finding time doing new things in your homes with family and close friends. I believe the key to us all getting through this pandemic is to follow the guidelines medical professionals and the CDC have conveyed. Additionally, we can be creative with quality time spent with our loved ones. I'll be totally honest and tell you I am a movie buff. Prior to everything going on, I personally had a movie theater membership that I paid for monthly. This membership entitled me to see three movies a week at no charge. Yes, that's how much of movie lover I am. So imagine when getting out to go the movies was no longer an option, I had to figure another way. It didn't take too long because I already had <b>Netflix</b>, <b>Prime Video</b>, <b>Hulu</b> and <b>Disney Plus</b> streaming services to allow me to watch movies and TV shows I had never seen. I became a regular couch potato watching an array of movies. After so long, it became boring and I started brainstorming and researching ways to make movie watching at home more entertaining. Here are ideas that you may find helpful.<br />

It has been quite sometime since I've blogged. However, let's be honest, our current world state for the last several months has given us all more time on our hands to decompress, think and reflect. In an effort to locate the silver lining of what we are going through, I've had plenty of time to craft, brainstorm and expand my services for<b> S. Anita Designs</b>. Even though many have gotten engaged, had milestone birthdays, retired and so much more during this pandemic, for safety reasons celebrations have been re-strategized, cancelled or postponed. I would like to share some ideas to still achieve celebrating these milestone events in the new norm way.<br />

<li>Limit invites to immediate family if in person and ensure everyone wears face mask.</li>
<li>Host intimate event at home versus an event center.</li>
<li>Host a pizza party and send an intimate group of people a free pizza followed by hosting a Pizza Zoom Party.</li>
<li>Sending Cupcakes and Champagne for the Bride's favorite dessert and host the Bridal Shower virtually. Gifts can be purchased online or Gift Cards can be purchased. Registries can be setup online. Actual Gift Cards can be virtual instead of physical card.  </li>
<li>Compile pictures and create a slideshow that can be shared at a designated time with family friends whom would have been your wedding/shower/party guest list to celebrate the nuptials/celebration in a different virtual way. Each guest would receive instructions on bringing snacks.</li>
<li>Destination Wedding for the Couple viewed virtually by family and friends. </li>

I have a personal fascination with all things girlie.What's more girlie than a tea party?? I would say nothing. No matter the age, Girls love tea parties. I have attended and been apart of planning a number of teas, however I decided to research the history of tea time. Let me tell you.... many of us have a lot to learn. The history of tea time or tea parties date back to the 17th and 18th centuries for the wealthy or elite. Present day teas are attended by people from various backgrounds and socioeconomic classes. What remains the same is the ambience. The delicate and dainty manner. When I think of a tea, etiquette is synonymous with such an event. With all of this being said I would like to give you some pointers so that when are planning your next tea with an organization or attending one, you are a little more versed.<br />

<b>Low Tea/Afternoon Tea</b>- An afternoon meal including sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, curd, 2-3 sweets and tea. ("low tea" due to guest being seated in low arm chairs with side tables to place cups and saucers on)<br />
<b>Elevensies</b>- Morning coffee hour in England<br />
<b>Royale Tea</b>- A social tea that includes champagne or sherry served at the end of the tea.<br />
<b>High Tea</b>- Elegance and regal-ness typically around 6 pm that includes a meal of meat and potatoes as well as other foods and tea.<br />

When it comes to your eating utensils, you start from the outside and work your way in. Notice the outside utensils are for soup and salad. These are typically your introduction courses. The main course that includes meat is the next meal. Take note there is a fork and knife for meat and/or fish. Your dessert utensils are above your place setting. Dessert is typically the final course of a formal dinner.<br />
<br />
Remember when you sit down to place the napkin across your lap. If for some reason during your meal, you have to excuse yourself, but you are not finished eating place the napkin on the back of the chair and cross your fork and knife in your plate to signal to the wait staff or host that your are not finished eating yet. If you are finished you place your fork and knife in the 11 o'clock position and your napkin should be placed on the left side of your place setting, signaling you are finished.<br />

With that being said, one of my Classmates from High School that I had not seen in person in 20 years until my Class Reunion this Summer, owns a online fashion boutique. When she saw on Facebook that I began to advertise about the event, Tamika messaged me, inquiring. I invited Tamika for multiple reasons. First she is go getter, a bonafide businesswoman.<br>

Happy Friday blog readers!!! Alot has gone on this week. I flew back from LA to DFW Sunday after attending the NAACP Image Awards and enjoying Southern California weather. Spent a little QT (quality time) with Jasmine and Chandler. A long eventful work week. Still jet lag. Errands, errands, errands. Overwhelmed by the "Charlie Sheen" media take over and lastly the Earthquake and Tsunami hitting Japan and making it's was way to impact the West Coast. One thing is for sure I pray for everyone's safety. I am also glad our trip to the West Coast was last weekend versus this weekend. I can only imagine the drama and mess we would have experienced trying to get back home. <br>

So the story gets better, instead of waddling in self pity, Lisa decided to be apart of a giveaway of her <strong><em>Dallas Bridal Show Show</em></strong> Sponsored Wedding to a deserving couple.
